What we do

The first step is for us to arrange a meeting  - or we can do the arrangements over the phone, to discover the type of function you want.

We would discuss the menu, drinks, including wine, also crockery – you can use your own or we have our own which we can bring, wine glasses etc.

The next step – for us would be – on the day of the event to shop and buy all the ingredients  - everything – from  fresh local fish to organic vegatables.

We then prepare the food – as discussed with you – in your own home- ready for when your guests arrive.

We would have discussed – if you need us to serve drinks and food or should we take a low profile, in the background - either way before we leave your home  - the kitchen would have a thorough cleaning and any refuse taken away.

Cookery Lessons

Dine at Home offers cookery lessons in your own home (we will even help with the washing-up afterwards!).

Whether you want to learn how to cook a five-course gourmet dinner or just learn some of the basics, Dine at Home can guide you through selecting your ingredients, preparation, cooking and food hygiene. Classes can be one-to-one or in small groups, ideal for a birthday party.

As we all know because of convenience foods and busy lifestyles, our children are not getting the information they need to cook for themselves. Dine at Home can show how easy it is to cook good balanced meals using fresh, local and seasonal produce, and with a few basic cooking skills they can have the knowledge they need to cook for themselves.

Classes are charged per hour and do not include ingredients. Classes are normally between 2-4 hours depending on the lesson. Please contact Dine at Home to discuss your requirements.

One-to-one classes £12 per hour
Group classes (2-5 people) £6 per person per hour

* Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
