Who we are…
Personal Chef Trevor Bayfield
is a qualified chef, who ran his own restaurant on Trelowarren Estate on
the banks of the Helford river in Cornwall.
His specialty then, was local fish,
winning reviews in the local press as well as the good food guide. Private
parties and medium to large weddings were
catered for . While running the
busy Yard Bistro with Jane, his wife, they had a daughter and moved to Devon
– to start their own business again.
Trevor trained mostly at Cornwall College – and also obtained an adult
teaching degree at Trevenson House.
In between all this Trevor also managed some competition work winning gold
medals in team and solo events. Because of all the comprehensive training, Trevor is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects
of cooking – from soups and soufflés , French ragouts and Italian tapas to Olive breads,
Thai Curries and puddings….. to numerous to mention!!!




Go informal! Have a few friends over, Have some tapas out
in the garden with some spanish fruit punch...Have some local mussels cooked classic French Style or how about Thai Style,
a bit of spice and coconut milk...A large mixed and tossed salad, with marinaded bell pepers, french baguette, followed
by summer pudding and clotted cream or a local brie with fruit and oat cakes? It could be not as expensive as you think...
