Just wanted to drop you a line to thank you so much for the lovely lunch you provided for
us for my mother's 85th on Saturday. The food was gorgeous and the service brilliant, I have no idea how you can
do it so well in such a small space with people milling around in a small holiday cottage but it was all an unqualified success.
Your staff (are they all family?) were lovely, so friendly and kind -yet so professional too - and a real asset. You
all took the pressure off me which was great too - I wish I'd had the opportunity to chat a bit more, I'd love to
have known a bit more about your background and get a few hints about cooking for groups like that, it was all so impressive,
especially as you had to wait for the last people to arrive and the photographer to do his stuff too.
We'll
all be back in Devon for her 90th in 5 years time so may see you then!!

Have now arrived home from our holiday
in Devon and really felt the need to drop you this note to thank you once again for the wonderful meal you provided for our
family to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. We can honestly say it exceeded
our expectations and each course was a delight. The presentation, the
timings between each course, the quality and the pleasant way in which you and your wife served the meal was perfect and it
made our evening feel very special. We will certainly have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends if they visit
the area and we have also left your details on the notice board at Dovecote House.

Dear Trevor, This is just a short note
to say thank you for the dinner you produced here on Saturday. Without exception all present expressed their delight with the meal. It lived up to
the description given, was well cooked and beautifully presented. The service, too, was excellent. It is always a bit of
a gamble when one doesn't know a chef's work; what sounds good on paper may not turn out that way! In this case everything went as well as we had hoped and we would not hesitate to ask
you again if the occasion arises and would also recommend you to others. The added bonus was to find a clear and clean kitchen
afterwards. Very many thanks.
